We're privileged to welcome the powerful all-female trio Lady Maisery to the Little Folk Festival, bringing their distinctive harmonies, original compositions and rich instrumentation to the stage. Made up of renowned folk musicians Hazel Askew (harp / concertina), Hannah James (accordion / percussion) and Rowan Rheingans (fiddle / banjo), all three tour regularly with others including Maddy Prior, Nancy Kerr and the Rheingans Sisters and together they form a key part of the revolutionary all-female project Songs of Separation.
Showcasing a myriad of musical influences, the trio play to sell-out audiences across Europe, and were nominated for the Horizon Folk Award in 2012 when newcomers to the folk scene. A performance sure to captivate all.
