The Little Folk Festival is a celebration of community, creativity and folk culture. Workshops, traditional crafts, folk music, dancing, circus skills, feasting, yoga and storytelling. A festival run by the parents of the Rudolf Steiner School Kings Langley for the whole community.
The day begins at 10 AM with an inspirational community singing workshop led by the renowned Susie Ro Prater, co-founder of Glastonbury choir Shakti Sings.
The main festival opens at 12 noon on the Festival Field, with drumming, storytelling, face painting, crafting, yoga and foods of all kinds - and suitable for all tastebuds and preferences.
The Festival Stage opens at 12:30 with a packed programme of folk music all afternoon, leading into a ceilidh from 7 PM led by revered folk band Boldwood.
We are most definitely family friendly festival, which is why we are enabling two accompanied children in with each adult ticket sold. We have carefully thought about our programme to make it as accessible as possible to all ages.
Our Food & Drink is completely free from alcohol, with a huge variety of creative options on offer! We ask that you help us to keep the site alcohol free for this event. Please note, no smoking is allowed on site, or dogs (apart from guide dogs).
This is our first year as a festival, so all ideas and feedback are welcome and encouraged! And if you'd like to get involved in any way you would be more than welcome! We rely on a huge team of volunteers to make this happen. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
